Dainty MD: Happy FIRST Anniversary E'BTG!

Hello lovelies! :) I know you all remember my past two posts regarding a very exclusive event that I was given the chance to be a part of. ( See here: An exciting news and OOTD: 10/27/12 ) So here it is finally after almost three weeks! This is my Event post for the E'BTG First Anniversary! Well better late than never right?!? :)

Last October 27, 2012 together with my Blogger amiga Svetlani we went to Richmond hotel in Eastwood for the First Anniversary celebration of Everything 'bout the girl! :) Just a warning girls, picture heavy post coming up! :)

Ms. Arra (she is Ms. Mymy's daughter, she's so pretty right? Like mother like daughter!) greeted us and gave us registration cards to fill up which will also serve as our raffle stubs.

We were also given our super kikay welcome drinks! It was also pink!According to Ms. Myla it was Asti Martini, a sparkling wine. It was such a yummy sosy drink!

Ms. Myla Upshaw of MyMy Blog came out to the registration table and greeted us by name! When I saw her from afar I was so mesmerized actually starstruck! Super sexy and I was looking at her, she actually looked too young to be a mom of two! OMG! When she approached us, we really felt welcome and giddy because she knew who we were! See how happy we were! Big smiles all across our faces! :)

When we entered the hall where the event was to be done I knew immediately that everything in the venue from the littlest of details was so well thought of!

The Open Buffet! The menu was filled with so many food that I can't make up my mind on what to eat!

Eventually This is what I got, I got a plate full of desserts, I didn't eat this by myself though I shared it with Svetlani... hihi

My plateful of goodness! Carbonara fettucini, fish fillet with tartar sauce and I forgot the other two but all are so sumptuous,I wanted to go back for seconds but I had to watch my diet coz I am almost overweight na... haha

After the sumptuous lunch Ms. Mymy, the event hostess, started the program by telling us about what E'BTG is all about and how it came about. She then introduced us to Ms. Cathy Cantada-Dizon the chief makeup artist of Shu Uemura... :) She even taught us how to pronounce " Shu Uemura " correctly... hihi

Ms. Cathy was so bubbly, and her smile was so infectious! We were so at home with her because she was very approachable and helpful, that she went around to help us in doing our own makeup looks for the day. :)

These are the products that I used, the brushes are mine and they are by Beauty cosmetics which I bought from Fabshopaholic. Then the Shu Uemura products... OMG! I fell in love with the pressed powder and the eye shadow! I only have the liquid foundation as of the moment but I would love to add more to my Shu Uemura colletion... hihi See that versace lip liner? That one is Svetlani's, she was so kind that she let me borrow it. OMG! it was so easy to use, it has this rich bright reddish pink color that doesn't smudge nor feather. And it glides on oh so smoothly! If I only had the money I would buy tons of this product! Would you believe it, I didn't put on any lipstick on top of the liner! That's how pigmented and nice the color was. Ms. Cathy also noticed it and she also loved it! :)

Vanity shot! I really love how my lips look! Who would believe me if I said that it is just lip liner ?!?

Ms. Cathy helped me out because I told her that it was really hard for me to do my eyeshadow because I had very heavily hooded lids.

After the makeup session, Ms. Mymy introduced us as the bloggers who won the invites for EBTG First Anniversary. :) There was also a raffle, the prizes were tickets to The Breaking Dawn movie, some prizes from Belle and Cat Nail and Wax Studio, and a very cute pink makeup case! :) Oooh how I wish I had won but I wasn't too lucky that day... haha

It was such a great experience for me and I will never forget it! I sure hope that next year I would still get to be invited!
