A Dainty Holiday Makeup and Nail art Contest !

Hello Ladies! I know i have been MIA lately! Super hectic duty schedule and I just can't find time to blog, but anyway  will make up for it by posting my Holiday makeup and nail art contest! Can you already feel the Christmas breeze? Well I can! And to celebrate the coming holidays I will be having my first ever makeup and nail art contest! I have seen that the trend for blogs right now are to have giveaways so I decided to make things a little bit more exciting... so aside from doing the usual rafflecopter tasks lets whip out those makeup and nail art brushes and create our holiday looks!

What are the contest rules?

1. Create a "Dainty Holiday Makeup AND Nail art look", which means you have to do not only a makeup look but also a complementary nail art look. You are free to use any color combinations as long as it would show your interpretation of a "Dainty Holiday".
2. The submission of entries will start from November 15 and will end on December 15.
3. Do all the mandatory tasks in the rafflecopter.
4. The photos submitted must be of high quality to facilitate judging of entries. If the photos are deemed unclear the entry will be disqualified during the first phase of judging. Again, make sure both before and after photos are large enough and clear enough for the judges to compare and vote on. The higher the resolution the better. 
5. The first photo must be a head shot of yourself without makeup (the 'before' photo). The second photo must be a creative shot of the Holiday makeup and Nail art (the 'after' photo). I would prefer it if the creative shots will show both the makeup and nail art in one picture. Photo collages will not be allowed. 
6. The captions for the photo must include the following:

• Name of the look created
• Specific products used

For the Nail Art:

1. Your design must complement your holiday makeup look.
2. The design must be done by you, on your own nails.
3. Stamping, decals, wraps, stickers and use of acrylic paint are not allowed. Freehand designs only using nail polish is allowed.

How will the winners be selected?

There will be one consolation prize winner and Two major prize winners. The consolation prize will be chosen via the rafflecopter app.

For the major prize, All valid makeup entries submitted via rafflecopter will be posted in Dainty MD's facebook page. Make sure to visit the page to see if your entry was qualified then have your family and friends vote for your entry. :)

There will be two phases for judging:

Phase 1: 5 Semi-finalists will be chosen based on the NUMBER of facebook likes. Creation of bogus accounts and use of automated facebook photo/page liker apps or the like will be disqualified. 

Phase 2: The 5 semi-finalists will then be judged using the following criteria:

• Creativity
• Originality
• Relevance to the theme
• Execution

The panel of judges will be comprised of 3 non-participating bloggers and myself plus one of my sponsors. The panel will be chosen by me. All decisions are final, and will be made at the discretion of the judging panel.

The semi-finalists will be announced here and the final winner will also be announced here and will be notified by email. The winner will be given 48 hours to reply to my email.
